"More" is probably one of the most under-rated Albums Pink Floyd has to
offer. The Album was recorded only in one weeks time at Abby Road.
The Premis of the Album was for it to be a soundtrack for the movie
"More".
At this point Floyd was in the period of time where they were looking
to create the work of their time. They thought this album would be
"Ummagumma", so they had taken time out to write "More". The album
expresses Pink Floyd in more of a mellow tone rather than the
psyhadelic and unique manor they normally played in.
Some of the things that make this album unique is that is uses many
types of music, for example, "The Nile Song", which is more of a heavy
metal and "Crying song" which is more of a Instrumental piece. The
album experiments with music from Heavy metal, to blues, to
instrumental pieces that are all excelent.
