I believe he's reffering to the Pink Floyd movie in which Johnny Depp is set to play the role of Syd, news of this came out early this year, but there's been no more news on it yet.
Theres been talk about it for a long time. I read in the updated Syd Barrett Crazy Diamond book that shortly after the release of the first verison of the book a movie was planned and Johnny Depp was suppost to play the role of Syd. The movie went into Pre-Production. A script was written but after Roger Waters read it he threatened to sue because his role wasn't a major one.
