Okay, just thought of one, but had to look it up for the exact names needed for the answer. Which two people have played in bands, outside Pink Floyd, with both David and Syd.

I think they were Chris Ian and Ken Waterson; they played with Dave and Syd in "Chris Ian and the Newcomers."

Perhaps I should have gone and edited the post after all. I actually meant at different times, that's why I said bands, not a band. I thought about editing it to make it absolutely clear that's what I meant, but decided against it.

So i'll throw the question open again.

Reviving this thread again. The answer to my last question, (or the one I was looking for at least), was Clive Wellham and Tony Santi. Played with Syd in The Mottoes and David Gilmour in The Ramblers which became Jokers Wild.

New question to start off again and I will choose an easy-ish one to get discussion going again. What was Moonhead?
