...then there are the people like me who like Rick and Syd a lot. Their voices sounded so great together... we'll probably never hear them sing together again, but it was good for the short time it lasted!
Even though I think it's silly to try and rank the band members - they all were essential to Pink Floyd in one way or the other - I voted for Roger. Yes, he has been a bit of an arsehole in the past, but I think he writes brilliant lyrics and I like his sense of humour. And if it weren't for Roger, I probably never would have picked up a bass.
I like Nick too. He just seems like such a nice person. Very funny as well.
I chose Rick because all the keyboard and synthesizer parts/solos are one thing that made Pink Floyd unique. I really like David too, but it was clear that when he was the leader of the band, they weren't as good. Of course Roger is very important, but if he didnt become so controlling, then the band might not have been so bitter for 20 years. Nick is pretty cool and funny, but no offense to him, but its not like he was the best drummer of all time, and he didn't write songs or sing them, so he wasnt as important. Syd was good, but he barely did any material with the band so its hard to choose him.

he has so few votes because he didnt do much at all with pink floyd. he had nothing to do with all the best albums. not knocking the guy because if i do this forum will team up on me but im saying he wasnt around long enough to be a favorite over gilmour or waters consistently.
