I occasionally read another forum which is a Manchester United one and they have a really good read-only thread with all of the classic threads from the forums history. I thought this is a really good idea and if people could nominate some great threads then we could get it started, with the Mods cooperation and consent of course.
this is a interesting idea, but I think 2 things kill it...1)not until we are ready to switch to a new forum, especially if this one becomes "read only"...(cool down, hypothetical statements here!!!! :) ) 2) too many banned members in the threads that may be requested and editing them is out of the question, believe me, I've thought of doing that...
I agree it's an interesting idea, but we have bigger things on the table at the moment. I suppose you could start to find threads you would like to include in this, but with the search function broken, that might be difficult.

I didn't realise the Search button was broken. The forum really is dying. :(

I may start searching now that we know the forum is safe again.
I fixed the search problem on Ikonboard too btw, so you can search on there if you prefer. Not sure yet how well this new forum can search imported posts.

Err never mind that. I just realized that the search feature is disabled due to Ikonboard being closed down.
