Which Floyd album has the best lyrics in your opinion?

This thread is twinned with this one: http://www.pinkfloydonline.com/forums/sh...http://www.pinkfloydonline.com/forums/showthread.php so we can see how the two categories compare.
Animals

Its hinda hard choosing between The Dark Side Of The Moon , The Wall, The Final Cut, Wish You Were Here

Has to be Animals

HA HA CHARADE YOU ARE Whistling
Animals
ANIMALS...musically too, perhaps.
The Wall with Animals as a close second
Animals definitely. Most of the lyrics in Dogs alone are worthy of that title. rocker
I think Pigs (TDO) has the best lyrics, the most bitter with the best imagery. Sheep is my second favourite, though is the most straightforward lyrically, and Dogs is of course great also

I love the lyric in Dogs; you've got to be trusted by the people that you lie to.

Very true with politics these days. rocker
yeah, Dogs has really good lyrics, no doubt, but I'm a sucker for the imagery and the overall bitter sarcasm in Pigs (TDO), and prolly cause it's my favourite Floyd song (with Sheep as my second, Dogs as my third), though Dogs is absolutely fantastic

Yeah. All the songs on Animals have great lyrics really, so to each his own. Cool
