I'm gonna try another incarnation of this thread to see if anyone's opinions have changed, and to give us new members a chance to weigh in.

My least favorite PF album, by a long shot, is The Final Cut. Not only does it sound like outtakes from The Wall, it's worse: it's just Roger's self-indulgent whining about losing his Da in the war.

Rog, buddy: Ya need to get over it. Let it go.

2nd least favorite: Atom Heart Mother. But I haven't listened to it in several years; I may have to give it another listening, just to be fair.
I don't really have a least favorite because they all have merit one way or another. Besides, Floyd's worst album is still better than many band's best albums. If I were going to pick though, I'd have to go with either Relics or Works as they are rehashes of other material.

You got THAT right. I'd rather listen to even BAD Floyd than pretty much anything else.

Hmmm...If I were going to rank them (based on plays)
1. Meddle (For some reason I like Meddle better than Dark Sid
2. Dark Side
3. The Wall (these two are a toss up for me)
4. Animals
5. The Final Cut (I like the theme of this album. Especially since they added When the Tigers Broke Free)
6. Wish You Were Here
7. Momentary Lapse (Ever since finding live tracks from this tour, I had a better appreciation for this one)
8. Ummagumma (I love Grantchester Meadows)
9. The Division Bell
10. Piper
11. A Saucerful of Secrets
12. More
13. Obscured by Clouds
14. Echoes (Unlike other Greatest Hits CD's, this one seems to have some thought in track placement)
15. Works (I like the different versions from Dark Side)
16. Relics
17. An Addition to our Collection of Pounds...Err...A Collection of Great Dance Songs (Curse the Completist in Me)

Solo:
1. Amused to Death
2. Radio KAOS
3. When the Wind Blows - Half of it is Roger :)
4. Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking
5. Music from the Body
(The first four are pretty close)

1. David Gilmour
2. About Face
3. On an Island
(The David Gilmour ones are too close to call for me though...Only slight edges here)

1. Wet Dream
2. Broken China

I only have one Nick Mason CD...It's okay....

1. Syd Barret
2. The Madcap Laughs
3. Opel - Interesting Stuff but some of it is repackaged.

So I guess after that, I do have a least favorite - a collection of great dance songs. It seems that Floyd songs aren't really meant to be separate and this one is a jumbled mess. Too much "Radio Floyd" for my tastes.
I'd have to say "The Final Cut". It does seem like a self-indulgent RW solo LP more than actual PF.

And as my sig signifies, I like ATOM HEART MOTHER. While not my favorite, it ranks up there, more for sentimental reasons than musical, but then music does play with our emotions, as it should

And PaulM...ya forgot that one Thumbsup

It wasn't Paul, it was me....Hmmm....

Dammit...

6.5 Atom Heart Mother
Tuff choice! Probably The Final Cut! I like only a handful on Piper! So maybe Piper...Naaaa! The Final Cut!
The worst is obviously momentary lapse, but if you have seen my other posts you already know that is my opinion.
"More" - most of it is crap with only a few listenable tracks. If you're not counting film scores, then "The Final Cut".
I really like about half of "More," but the bad stuff is really quite bad.

AMLOR is also pretty far down on the list for me.

AHM also has some nice ideas and can be fun, but it's overall one of their weakest efforts.

TFC is underrated! As is TDB.

The Wall has some great stuff, but it's waaay overrated IMHO.
