Are you familier with the very funny british comedy show 'Coupling'?
If you are, don't you think Richard Coyle who plays Jeff could play Syd Barrett if a biopic was made. He certainly looks like him or resembles him.

Personally, I don't see the resemblance. But if he could pull it off acting-wise, I don't think resemblance matters much.
Jeff was the funniest one on the show...I like the British accent.. anyone ever watch EJ Demira on Days Of Our Lives? He has a kick ass accent..
there is a little similarity, anyway he is the most funny charcter in this tv show.
did you know that there is also an american version of coupling? but it is less succefull
