Hello, everyone. My name is Frankie.
I was an ASR member (at one time the 2nd Most Dedicated of the board). I met many great people and made many friends there. I started going to the forum less and less and eventually stopped going altogether. Since I subscribed to every topic I posted in I kept receiving e-mails long after I stopped going. I would occasionally delete large amounts of them every month but it got to be so much that I didn't bother with them anymore. Anyways, this morning I thought I'd check my e-mail account, something I rarely do anymore. The first e-mail was a New Topic Notification from 'Invision Power Board'. Since it wasn't under the name of 'Welcome to ASR: The Lounge' I figured it must be important. I opened it. It was a topic started by Linkteen and the topic title was not very nice. Neither was the starting post. I thought I'd check out why this was. I clicked on the link to the topic and was greeted with
this. Although I had not been to the board in quite a while I was extremely disappointed and saddened by this news. I followed the link to this forum (which I had heard a lot about while I was in ASR) and read every post in the topic. Since it was closed I couldn't post my opinion on the issue, and will not in an effort to avoid discussion.
Since it seems that members of ASR have flocked over here I thought I'd do the same and join my fellow ASRians. I can't promise I'll be as dedicated in this forum since I don't know as much about Pink Floyd as I do about The Beatles, and I might forget or lose interest in this site, but I will try.
So as I said, my name is Frankie. I'm 18 years old. I play drums, hence my username. I also play guitar, bass, keyboard/piano, and harmonica. I like writing songs and have recently recorded a full album for my senior project.
I was born in Cuba (I am not a Communist), but came to America at the age of 5, lived in New Jersey for a year and moved to Miami, Florida where I currently reside.
I like to think I'm a pretty cool guy and fun to get along with. I don't like arguing because I think it's a waste of time (and also 'cus I'm bad at it), my girlfriend says it's because I'm a Capricorn.
I guess that's good enough for now. You'll find out about me the longer I stay here.
Welcome to Frankie and all of the other new members! Take a moment to look at the rules of posting, it's pretty standard stuff and enjoy yourself. PFO is a great place, make yourself at home.

That's a good idea. Maybe all the ASR people can take note and send one another
personal messages letting one another know who they were at ASR and you can all make little cheat sheets until you get use to the new and different usernames. Myself, if I had five cents for every username I have had on this forum, I would have... (let's see, ten carry the one) 15 cents.
Or just wait and keep reading until they post something familiar or something that was repeated over and over again at ASR and then it will come flooding back to your memory.

Welcome to PFO Bree. I'm sure you'll find some old friends here and possibly some new ones. We've closed the topic on that other forum after allowing commentary for a few days. Enjoy the community here, our rules are basic and the members are friendly.

Hey guys, she really adores Sir Paul McCartney so use that in your opening lines. You'll stand a better chance if you like winters in Minnesota or ever owned a Super Beetle as well.
