Some Other Jackass Wrote:"Warning! Warning! Intruder alert! Intruder alert! Danger Will Robinson!"

Sorry. If Sea Green Queen was not the first, it would be only a matter of time before some other jackass would print that.

And you all understand that if you invite an intruder in he cannot be prosecuted for trespass.

I just hope you enjoy your time around the forum, my man. It does have it's share of pirates, ninjas, gypsys, tramps and theives.

...with Dr.Smith sniveling behind the robot with that frightening plastic/foam plant alien thrashing about with those visible wires....

Welcome to PFO new people!

This looks like a great site. Will enjoy catching up on this great band.

Hi everyone , as you may have guessed , my name is Jeff and I've been a fan of Floyd since The Wall . The best concert I've ever been to was Pink Floyd in 1994 , July 1st in Winnipeg . The next had to be Roger Watters in 2007 . I'm now 44 and Floyd has been a part of my life since 1979 , and the thing is , it is becoming an even bigger part the longer I listen . It was the passing of Rick that caused me to delurk and I hope to be around for awhile . Shine on .

Use the search function for topics you're interested in, chances are there's been a discussion about it already. berni907, don't worry about hate being a newbie fan, everyone starts sometime...admitting to being Liam's mate however...Whistling Laughing
Im going to let that one pass just this once ...
hi.

My name is Nick. I live in the state of Alaska. I was first introduced to Floyd one night with a vcr of "The Wall". That made me a instant Floyd fan. Years later, I was given "Live in Pompeii" Dvd as a christmas present. For about 3 years after that I spent 60 percent of my life researching, documenting, and learning as much about this band as i could. I compiled all of my information into a book, i have not done anything with....yet.
At the same time of my discovery of Floyd I discoverd poetry. And i have a book of poetry, copyrighted, and soon to be published: " A Soulfull of Secrets" i attribute my poetic insperation to syd, and roger. i feel that the genius musical talent of dave really carried the band in the latter years.
It is not very often that i run into someone that i can talk floyd with. however when the oppurtunity comes around, i take full advantage. this forum is the perfect oppurtunity.
i would like to post some of my floyd inspired poetry and get some input from other floyd fans.
hi my name's dan from Oxford, England. I became addicted to the Floyd when my mother played the dark side of the moon. Such eerie guitar wails sent a chill down my spine and i was in awe. I am 15 and have been a floyd fan for about 2 years. One of my favourite songs is Sorrow; i love the opening guitar solo. Fave solo is definitely High Hopes which only just eclipses Comfortably Numb. I own seven albums and the new David Gilmour cd. I have friends who merely listen to bands like keane and bands that i find unappealing. Glad i have found a website where i can share music interests.

for your poetry, there are some seriously good writers around here!
TDOW, you'll find very diverse tastes in other bands here as well as fanatical Floydians. I was thinking of starting the day with TDB...well, right after I watch my tape of the Formula One from Japan :)
Welcome to the forum all new members. Come in and have some fun! rocker
