Hi all, my name is Iain McHenry. I'm British and work as a First World War historian living in Ypres, Belgium. I spent 17 years in the British Army during which time I really got into Pink Floyd starting about 1990. Like most of you I am a huge Floyd Fan and fan of their solo Albums.
I like all their songs but all time faves are:

If I had to mention a least fave it would be Money.
I had the privilege of seeing Pink Floyd play Live in 1994 at Earls Court. I have never seen Roger Waters play but am hoping for something next year! I have seen the Aussie Floyd 4 times and really rate them well.
On my travels I have seen Rogers Fathers name on the Cassino memorial to the missing, Monte Cassino, Italy and also been to the spot where his Battalion was when he was killed. I am currently researching Rogers Grandfather who was killed in action in WW1 at Arras, France serving with 256 Tunnelling Company, Royal Engineers. His grave is about 30 miles from where I live.
I hope via the forum to share in some great Floydian discussions and learn more about them from you folk. Over the years their music has really shaped the person I am. One day I would love the oppurtunity just to shake hands with them and say thanks for making such great music.
