Welcome back, Kole!
Thank you Joe, I do enjoy being back, back in the black of the front of the back of this fourm.

COME ON SON!
Hi from the Netherlands :)
even though I have a wierd (Blues) nickname, I'm a Floyd lover for about 36/37 years now.

Mhh besides the above, I'm also an IT engineer that wasn't on standby but received a distress call anyway (it's Queens day in Holland) be back later.

Thanks,

You are absolutely right. I joined, read along (not logged in) and just didn't get up with something to post anything worth others while.
By now I'm leaving the path of the Blues more and more (for now) and thought well let's introduce myself and see what happens :)

Mhh now I come to think of it, I just may have something...
I did a song 3/4 of a year ago the maybe someone here might like a little.
I'll post in in the right board :)

I'll be present here more from now on I think.

Welcome Dr Steve................yes, its a great site.
Hmm well I guess it's my turn, yes ?
Well, hi everyone, my name is Oscar (mostly written with a K instead of the C as you can see), Alex, or by some very shaddy meanings, The Duke (if you have read the same books as I, you will find this very disturbing, I did not chose that nickname, people have given it to me). I am a huge Pink Floyd fan (obviously, eh ? ) as I am utterly convinced they are the most amazing band to play with the sound of the Muses, no other band and/or singer have moved me like the masterpieces of lyrics, melodies and pure emotions that Pink Floyd has. That said, I am what many consider a musical mess as I literally love every type of music, from the magnificient flutes of Rossini to the lyrical massacre of Tech N9ne, going through the trumpet of Louis Armstrong and the rough voice of Bob Marley. Needless to say, I know music quite a bit and if there's something that ticks me off, it would be unfiltered hate towards a certain genre or a certain time period as we all know that there's no such thing as bad music, just better music (which Pink Floyd tops in my mind). I am 17 and a proud Pink Floyd fan from Canada that went to see The Wall Live at Montreal a few weeks ago. I am not a new fan at all, it just recently struck me how amazing Pink Floyd's music is (something like a year ago) when I started having interests in poetry, surrealism and psychedelic culture. My favorite Pink Floyd album must be between Wish You Were Here and The Wall (Animals in third place for sure). You can take me as Waters elitist as I dislike most of A Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell. I could go in deeper as to why, but I choose not since I can apparently go on for hours about it (experience talking here). I thought of myself as a huge Pink Floyd fan until I've actually seen the people here and I suddenly feel like an amateur. To the pleasure of enhancing my Pink Floyd experience with all of you :)
So yeah I'm new here...
hi everyone. not sure how active this forum is these days, but hopefully we'll share some fun and insightful discussions.
Welcome IronHands, even though it's been rather quiet for a while we keep hanging on!
