Update: OMG!!! They are doing the full Wall show we are talking building the walls, ripping them down, and the puppets!!!

http://www.pinkfloydz.com/

Quote:The show will be a state-of-the art affair, featuring a 240-foot-wide and 35-foot-tall wall constructed and subsequently torn down during the concerts. Gerald Scarfe, who worked on the original tour and the1982 film, is providing new art and redesigning puppets and inflatable objects. (Video technology allows for projections twice the size of those in the original Wall dates). Roger has also said that this will probably be his last tour saying in one interview "I have a swan song in me and I think this will probably be it."

Update: Going by the Ticketmaster info for the New York show, tickets are $50-$250!!! (Expensive like the Police tour from a few years ago)

Update: The new site is up and the dates are official. Register to get pre-sale tickets...

If you go to his web-site, the background has changed from mourning Richard Wright.

It now shows the satellite from the DSOTM tour! I hope this means he may tour and do all of the Wall. Since it is the 30th Anniversary of his masterpiece!

And if amphibians could fly a frog would not be bumping his a$$ jumping around.

I apologize. That was rude. Amusing to me and a handful of others but rude nonetheless.
Please continue.
If I am "Wright", then I'll be "Amused to Death"!!!

:p
I really hope he keeps touring, but if I recall properly he said he wasn't going to do DSOTM complete anymore. Highlights would be good enough for me, I'd rather see him do his solo stuff anyway.

May I add a wtf to that? Rog's website is a front page only?
According to a source i know thats good friends with Ian Ritchie...I can comfirm that Roger is indeed working on a new tour.

And a few other little things i cant really say yet.. all will be revealed.
YEAH!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOO when will tickets be available, my life won't be complete unless i see this!
If he plays stuff off Amused to Death, I'll be pleased.

Roll on, Rog!
I have my sources

Quote:For the last two and a half years Roger has been working on a feature film based around old Floyd, and a couple of more recent, tracks on the theme of.....wait for it....someone who lost their dad in WW2!! Nobody saw that coming did they?! No dialogue this time though (well, a little from an unseen narrator) - just a series of scenes set to live versions including the screen-film used for 'Mother' during his most recent tours. He's already planning a new tour aswell.

More will be revealed in time.
It seems that he'll be doing something new soon, yay!
I'll definitely go see him again.
Oh dear God, please, please, a new album, ATD or TFC I'll take anything just to see him again!!!
