I definitely understand what you mean.

Like I said, I might be wrong. It still sounds good, though.

I love the sax solos that follow. They're very Wright-ish.
You mean the sax at the ending of the first couple of parts, I guess? The part I was talking about was the very last, which has no saxophone at all.

Edit: Just listened to The Gunner's Dream again. He definitely keeps that note for a few seconds.

Edit2: Holy shit... If in doubt, listen to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2uCXNU_o7w
I'm completely speechless... Roger Waters must the best bad singer ever.

lol roger waters isn't bad at all...hes just weird and spazzy!
I stand corrected.
I apologize :-)
The transition from Time back into Breathe, beautiful stuff...
The segue between Empty Spaces and Young Lust. Like seriously, I can't think of a better transition they've ever done. It's just so perfect. At first it's slow and depressing and then, "How should I.... Complete the walllllllllI'M JUST A NEW BOY!" Perfect. Just perfect.
Another bit I like is the 2nd solo that's done in the middle section of Dogs, and I prefer the way David played it live, as opposed to the album version.
Something I really like is, in The Wall's movie, Pink's wife screaming in Another Brick in the Wall part 3.
The very begining of ACYL
The extended guitar intro to Run Like Hell live. Sounds GREAT
