I'm very glad you've seen him live! I'm actually quite happy for you
Was it not boring to watch the show knowing what songs were going to be played?

Nah, not at all. An opera-ish concert is an experience that's completely different from regular concerts. You follow the storyline, watch the scenes unfold, etc etc. I really loved it. Even my father did, and he's totally not into Pink Floyd or Roger Waters.

I'm going to see him in Brisbane, taking the wife and 8 year old. I'm going for the music first and the show next.
Because I'm mainly into music, I'll be on the floor in the middle in front of the mixers desk.
Fingers crossed he'll be using the Quad sound, but if not I'm sure it will be good sound regardless.
Has anyone on here got David's Phone Number? I'd love him to play. He can stay at my place, use my car and I even own a Relic, so he wont even need to bring his guitar
Second concert announced in Melbourne and Sydney today. Funny thing is ticket don't officially go on sale until the 11th of July, pre-sales started on the 1st, must of sold a few. Go Roger I'm hoping you'll sell out a few more while you're down here.
No DG downunder since February 1988, sold out 10 concerts in a row in Sydney and 9 in Melbourne and many other concert in other City's. That's with a population of about 18mil at the time. Not sure what stop him coming back.

"All in all you're just another Pyramid at Giza"

I saw DG here in Perth 24/2/1988. I was 15 years old and it was my 1st concert. Saw RW here in Perth Feb 2007. I'm definatly going to see The Wall next year, after that I could get hit by a meteorite and killed and i would be one happy chappy
