Childhood's End was a great song indeed, fine lyrics & music,
The later made song 'Time' was somewhat inspired from Childhood's End theme & music.
What do you reckon?
I just got Obscured By Clouds, and I love that song.

I always thought Childhood's End sounded exactly like Time. Like the drum pattern I think is wat does it. And i do get what you are saying, pakastanifloyd, I do indeed.

Well, Obscured by Clouds came before DSOTM, right?
So, Time sounds exactly like Childhood's End, not the other way around.
But Time has a better guitar solo.

I don't see it as sounding exactly like Time, but I can see how Childhoods End inspired Pink Floyd to make Time. And by the way Obscured By Clouds is one of my all time (no pun intended) favorite albums. 
Childhood's End definately gave birth to Time- that's the conclusion! Isn't it!

I think Dark Side was released in 1973, and OBC was released 1972, so Childhood's End came first. :music:
