"Apparently during this part of song, some of the original words were in fact censored by the band or it's management before the final mix was recorded for release. Consequently we do not hear the actual words that the group used to describe Mary Whitehouse in detail - just a few "grunting sounds" and the words previously mentioned." (From Wikipedia)

Pardon my ignorance, but is there indeed any truth to this quote? If so, could someone clarify?
I've always wondered about that part myself. Well, I for one, just thought it was part of the song. But then again, you never know with Roger. He could have cursed up a storm. I would really like to find out more about that.
Yeah.

If they left "f'ed up old hag" in, image what they considered too filthy!
Saying someone`s a f**ked-up old hag, though, isn`t libellous - it`s just a valued judgement made by Waters.

But he may have implied something else that Whitehouse could have sued over - hence the cutting.

I`ve not heard this story before, though. As "FootageOfACop" says (I don`t know why, but that`s a brilliant username) Can anyone clarify?
Thank you PhilinTheFlesh. My username is a quote from Conan O'Brien. :)

I suppose that would make some sense, but I can't help wondering just what was said.
I have read interviews where Roger has spoken about that very line....it is just part of the song, nothing was ever censored.
great song, oh and the grunts have a legacy of their own, leading the talkbox guitar to be nicknamed a pig guitar (even tho u probably already know that)
Big Fag Pig Man.
