I think you may have missed the idea that Waters' solo career was just that, a solo career. Whether it sounded like Pink Floyd or not does not affect the greatness of any of his solo albums.

Agree. Roger is awesome and I've yet to hear a "worst" from him, and I doubt that I will...
I've had Pros & Cons for some time, never really liked it, but yesterday i listened to it live and man it is killer!So now i can say there is no such thing as waters worse.

Roger is alot more successful solo then dave is... About Face is decent but the other one Gilmour or whatever its called sucks if you notice when Dave has a solo concert he always ends up doing songs Roger wrote: shine on, comfy, run like hell etc. he cant even come up with his own lyrics his wife ends up helping him... although Pros and Cons is a little shakey it blows anything Daves done away 
Roger has his highs and lows in his solo career, a low being KAOS especially. I think the main problem with me and his work is that his focus post- Floyd was squarely on lyrics. I think he needed Dave with him to give him some resistance, and remind him that there needs to be compelling music to go along with compelling lyrics. Just my opinion, though.
