Ever have a parent say "Even that don't sound good" (Then uses his wrist movent of turning down the amp). I picked up the strat today and played some texas blues, and I don't consider my self a wiz but i can't say I sound bad. I mean really, i didn't sound that "bad". I was in that "mmmm yeah I'm feelin it". I was playing about 95% in key. When my father said that, I felt like saying "You know what, you try it, you don't know ****. Play a chord, play the c major penatonic scale, c'mon, you know more than me, and I don't sound good?". I feel like right now turning it up more, I think up to 7. **** the neighbors, **** everyone, I'll play the blues, for god sakes for the other thigns I could be doing haha. Angry.

Sound guys like that move also. Alot of them, the ones who are green, I might add, typically dislike stage volume. They want you to play as quietly as you can, then they will crank you in the PA.

Jerkoffs who have no Idea how to play a guitar. Or the sweetspot of a tube amp. They like to motion(turn it down). If you ignore them, they usually walk up to the stage,(in an effort to show you up, and show who's boss) And say, turn it down a bit. I mean, the drums are drowning me out for fukssake. :Oo:

yea, but you can still get the after market knobs that say 11... Cool ..many thanks to Christopher Guest...
That's why I use Marshall amps - Most amps only go up to 10 but Marshalls go all the way up to 11 ;)
Yeah, but only "Marshall" are the tube series, the solid state stuff is just ****, (my opininon) If you want a REAL marshall, you must have a bag full of money.I have a tube, I must say, it kicks ass. Has nice blues and rock. Get me a Plexi then I'll turn it 11 :) oh and a Line Array pa system! rocker
