Hey people! First time poster here!
Just wondering if anyone in the New York/New Jersey area would be interested in going to see The Machine. I'm trying to get a group together to go this concert...true Floyd fans that will appreciate this. It's at Nassau Coliseum and it's only $15 for general admission. Provide your own transportation.
Anyone interested, feel free to e-mail me at iri5hprincess@yahoo.com or IM me at WhimsicalEclipse.
PS- I need to ask this of real fans...am I crazy for getting the marching hammers tattooed on my shoulder??
You may want to recheck the source from which you got this information. After reading your post last night, I called Joe (the singer for The Machine) and he knows nothing of this show happening.... His reaction was the same as mine... WHAT?
I'm interested as to where you may have heard this.
Please let me know when you have more info...
On a better note, you will see the guys play in the NJ/NY area in May...
May 8th...BB Kings in NYC
May 14th... Mexicali Blues in NJ
May 22nd... The Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY
I'll let ya know more when I get it.
hmmm...must have gotten my lines crossed. My apologies! :sleepy: Okay then...what information do you have about The Chance? Is it over 21 or all ages?

All ages I do believe. You can call 845-471-1966 & get all the details you need. I've seen them there a million times & it's always a great show. Have fun...
I've actually never seen The Machine live or heard any of their stuff. Do they cover Roger or David? or both?
I think you were confusing Nassau Coliseum with Westbury Music Fair (both in Long Island). The Machine played at Westbury this past weekend.
There are sound and video samples of the Machine performing live on their website - http://www.themachinelive.com
You should check those out.

Well then you should make it a point to get to a show. Trust me you will not be disapointed. Like I said before, I have seen the guys play a million times in a bunch of great venues. They always leave you wanting more.
Joe, TC, Ryan & Neil put their hearts & soul into every performance, they are truely the best at what they do, 4 of the most extremely talented musicians I know. I am blessed to have the gift of The Machine in my life. It's a moving experiance. Always leave with a SMILE on my face & waiting for the next show....
Where do you live? They play all over, be sure to check the tour list on the website. (Thanks for the link Peter) While your there register & join The Machine "Family", we're basically a nice group of people (we have our moments) who love Pink Floyd & the guys that play it for us. Check out the posts, show reviews, pictures & of course have a listen to some of the sound clips. Let me know what you think...
Maybe we can meet up at a show sometime.... :p
i can also attest to their greatness. you will not be dissapointed, you'll be addicted

U hitting any of them? Let me know.
Ok, this is the latest update I have recieved from Joe...
The Chance show was changed to Friday the 21st of May.
If anyone here is from the area, please consider going. If you have seen them before or never seen them, it's worth every penny you pay & every mile you travel. :p
