Cream is reuniting for 4 shows in the UK. They have not desided if they are going to do anymore. You lucky brits! They just have to come to the states!

Can't believe this.
My friend just won a trip to go see this concert!!! Travel, accommodations, and tickets to the show all paid for! It appears that tickets cost well over $1000 too, is this right? The lucky bugger!!!

Then the whole thing is a big rip-off destined to finance their retirement plans. I haven't seen any of the three lads begging on the underground yet so they should try another way to make a living instead of charging people such OUTRAGEOUS amounts of money for a single gig's ticket. It's REPULSIVE.

It is very much so, Seamus. It just goes to show how some people refuse to let things die, I have been reading from the Jack Bruce forum that it's just like it was in 67 & 68, classic Ginger and Jack bullcrap, Eric still refusing some songs, ie the "Theme". Eric wants to do nothing but old "Cream" songs, in the beginning he agreed to do some new stuff by Ginger & Jack, has changed his mind now. They shouldn't regroup in my opinion, to still argue and be bullheaded over things almost 30 years old is very childish to me. That is why I dont think it is good for a group to get back together after so many years, do you think I'm wrong?
Like many other things, the fans/customers is the ones who pays in the end.
I agree with you mate. This may be the biggest example of 'take the money and run' ever. I mean, after 37 years, who would think of reuniting? Plus Ginger Baker is almost 70, come on!!!!
Still would be interesting to see how it turns out though. I might see if I can go to the next Simon & Garfunkel tour to hit the UK, (if they have one), just to see the forced niceities that their shows have these days.
Yeah, they let too much time slip by...
Eric still hasn't gotten over whatever happened 30 odd years ago, only childish people does that.

very true, it makes me sick and to top it of i think the gap from their original music to now is too big and will probably sound poor.

Where is this greed going to lead? Is there any ethic left in the showbiz these days?
