Very good decision. You won't regret it, but you would have regretted it if you hadn't gone.
Great decision. My Mom & I tried to get tickets for Dave earlier in the year but did not get through. As soon as I heard that Roger was touring, I immediately tried to get tickets and we pulled through.
Good decision and have fun
Im seeing Roger live in VA this septemeber. I have no idea what the set list is. I hope he's not playing that orchestra and symphony ********. I honestly bought the tickets to see the man play what he's know for. I'm an avid floyd fan and i just want to know what i
'm in for when i see him live.
If anyone could find out the set list for the tour this fall, let me know.
Thanks a bunch.

If you are asking whether he's playing the stuff from Ca Ira (the opera album), the answer is no.
And, yes, for better or worse, he is playing what he is best known for. The bulk of the set list for his summer tour has consisted of PF material between Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall. He's playing the entire DSotM, much of Wish You Were Here, Sheep from Animals, and several songs from The Wall--some of the famous ones, and some less-known ones as well.
Other than that, he's playing one real oldie (Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun), a few tracks from The Final Cut, and two solo tracks. That's it. Of course, the fall setlist may be different from the summer setlist, but I don't think it will change much.
From my perspective, this setlist is too conservative--I'd like to hear more solo work and more obscure stuff from Floyd's early days. But, if you just want to hear the most popular Floyd material, you shouldn't be disappointed.
I'm regretting missing him play in cork. Was only a train ride away...
I'm definitely going to the Virginia show too. I was considering going to Pimlico, but it's just a festival and I'm not a great lover of fests. One of my professors said he's absolutely amazing live, so I gotta go check it out!

This is true and sound quality is the best i've ever heard. Went to magny-cours and was blown away by the sound clarity :p even it was an outdoor gig.
Have fun
