3: pros and cons of hitchhiking was very good but compared to the other two i am going to mention now it was only medium (in my opinion sorry to others who like it)

2: radio kaos was my first album i heard of his solo stuff i really got in to it and then i got in to the other albums i managed to convert some of my friends to liking roger waters with this album

1: amused to death in my opinion is one of the greatest album ever i can't describe it in words its so great roger waters should be so proud when he listens to it
3. Radio Kaos. Really like it, but out of the three I have to rank it third, not for any one specific reason.

2. Pros and Cons. A little weak on the music here and there, but the concept is great, the lyrics are great and sometimes haunting (no pun intended), and the thematics and drama is top notch. Great stuff.

1. ATD. The marriage of great music and great lyrics. Some extremely underated songs on it (Watching TV for example). Can't say much more that hasn't already been said, and I don't want to repeat others. Superb album, his best.
Let's try something.

1. Pros and Cons...
2. Music from the body. It's very creative, althoug it has the participation of ron geesin, you can find there the first steps to DSOTM.
3. Amused to Death. It's very long and more depressive.
4. When the wind Blows. It's very similar to Roger's work on The Wall and FC and PACOH
5. Radio Kaos. No coments
Amused to Death - 10 / 10 doesnt get much better than this.

Radio KAOS - 7 / 10 fun and catchy, lyrics good and great at times

Pros and Cons - 6 / 10 still haven't really gotten into the entire album
1. Radio K.A.O.S.
2. Pros & Cons

yet to pick up Amused to Death

I"d like a live show of KAOS, with the three others songs I've heard about. anyone want to talk trade or gift to me, PM me :alien:

It was for me too. Its still the most important part, but the more I get into it I realize that lyrics and music are like peanut butter and jelly--Peanut butter (music) is kind of bland but good. Jelly (lyrics) withouth peanut butter though, is overpowering and sops through the bread (the listener) that holds it in place.

Godammit I am one smart motherfucker.
ive got to say the wall is the best album and the absolute best movie ever!!! hammers rocker hammers rocker hammers rocker hammers rocker hammers rocker

last I checked that wasnt a Waters solo album.... :upside: , and take it easy on the smilies

anyway, I havent got any solo albums yet, and it seems that Amused to Death is the common favorite, so should I get that first?

Pros And Cons if you like The Wall/Animals/TFC, Radio KAOS if you liked, umm, nothing, and Amused To Death if you like the expierimental days, where you could put on a Floyd album and hear all types of music.
