Ok, i cant really piano that much at all. The only song i know how to play, and its only partially is Yankee Doodle Dandy (lol at my self).

But, i am able to compose music. Using programs Like Noteworthy Composer and Finale (thier trial versions), i can make some interesting sound music.

All i needed to know in order to compose was just note lengths and that the higher up the bar, the higher pitched, the lower on the bar, the lower the pitch, etc.

I have composed music on the piano, mainly just little 6-15 or so simple, using 5 keys sequences.

Does anyone of you know where i could LEGALLY obtain piano notes/pages of music done by richard wright (nice easy music, no fast past stuff), that a noob at the piano like myself could learn?

Seoondly, anyone know a good file uploading place? so i can put my music(the stuff composed on the computer) up for people to easily access?

there's pianotabs.net i think and they have sheet music for great gig last time i checked there... as for the legality... meh who knows.

What worked the best for me is to actually take about a week and memorize chords, or at least the notes in them, and find keyboard tabs. It's not difficult at all, stays truest to the music, and leaves room for improv.

in most of the stuff i compose...recent stuff mainly (the stuff thats only on paper and not in a saved file, since finale demo wont let you save :( ) i like to use chords, ALOT. Some chords are probably impossible unless you have some really long or stretchy fingers. Also, i sometimes do chords in treble, and the actual music of the song in the bass.

Also, anyone know of any good piano/midi composing programs that are totally free? Ive used Noteworthy Composer and Finale trial/demo versions before, and wouldnt mind knowing if there are any totally free good ones floating around.

Actualy, i tihnk because of someones recommendation to someone else on this board for a good sound editor, ive been lately messing around more with creating wierd trippy sounding stuff in Audacity; some of the later stuff including some almost improv type piano playing.

Also, anyone know a good email service? I tried to sign up for that aforementioned music website so i could upload the music i have in file form.....but it says my email service blocks thier automated emails (or something like that.)

ya i did that too. i learned a lot of music theory with guitar too so you catch on real quick. it actually works great!
