OK, so here we have 10 Floyd songs that Rick sang lead or co-lead on. Please vote on the quality of RICK'S singing, not on the song overall, or on the overall quality of the singing (obviously some of the songs have more than one singer on them)

The criteria I've used to select the songs, by the way, is that Rick was the dominant or only vocalist on at least part of the song. I've left out songs like Echoes or the chorus of Us and Them because it seems that Rick and Dave's voices are equal in volume, so it's harder to hear what Rick is doing. I've also left out Rick's versions of Comfortably Numb and Arnold Layne, because they weren't performed by Floyd but rather as part of Dave's solo band.

For those who don't know who is singing what:

Time: Rick sings the choruses ("tired of lying in the sunlight)

Matilda Mother: Rick sings the 1st two verses alone, and he sings the choruses with Syd.

Let There Be More Light: Rick sings the verses (with Roger whispering along), Dave sings the choruses.

Astronomy Domine: I'm referring to the live versions on Ummagumma and (some versions of) Pulse. In the studio version, Syd and Rick's voices are about equal in volume, but Rick's voice is louder than Dave's in the live versions, so it's easier to judge his singing on those versions.

I'll have to think about this. His singing is great on all of these songs. Wearing The Inside Out & Summer '68 (Rick entirely on vocals on these 2, WTIO featuring background female singers though) really are 2 of the best examples of where he really shines on his own.
Went with WTIO, although I would've picked "Stay", had it been an option.
Time.
Ah, how could I have forgotten "Stay."??? "Burning Bridges" is another one that I could have mentioned...
If Stay was included I would have voted for that, but I went with Summer '68
i really like his singing in remember a day.
went with Time, his vocal work on that track really compliments the mood change
I would've chosen Burning Bridges or Stay, they both are magnificient.
It would be so nice and stay are him at his most somber vocaling
