Nick REALLY deserves more repsect!
What do you like best about him?
His drumming is very precise, and practically perfect.

Nick Mason: An unbelivable drummer, PRECISE PERFICT HITS practically everytime, it is very subtle, and suites the music well, and even his compositions on UmmaGumma are pretty dam good. He rocks!!!!!!!!

Nick Mason is great, but Pink Floyd didn't make really music that you needed to have alot of drum in it like unlike most Rock bands drums are a big part. Nick Mason was a perfect fit because I think any other drummer would have changed the way they sounded.
Outta sight, yeah. Nick is a very good drummer and does deserve more respect. He is very accurate and doesn't need to play incredibly fast like Neil Peart of Rush. I play the drums and it's not really that hard to follow Nick's beats. For me, this is just my opinion, I think Nick got gradually worse as he went on. On TPATGOD and ASOS, he was great. Actually, he was good on every Floyd album until The Wall. My god, could you get any more simpler than that? I could probably figure out every song from The Wall on drums in about a day. I'm not bragging but the drumming is so simple.
