I've always thought that the scene from "This Is Spinal Tap", when Nigel is bitching about the size of the bread, was directly inspired by Nick's pie crust rant.

Oh man, Roger's national-barrier-transcending oysters...quite possibly one of my favorite parts of that movie.
You can tell that Rick is desturbed by Roger's rabbeting about the 'good oysters' just by a single look on his face away from him.
Talking about oysters sounds like fun! :p
Here is the legendary scene. It's about 8 mins.

Did you see Rick's look I mentioned?

Also, I love Nick's serial-killer eyes at the end  !

its simple, he's being a prick.
I don't think he's deliberately acting like a prick.

And, dig Rick's Charlie Brown sweater!
Hey, I just realized something: If you listen closely, when the guy asks Roger and Dave if the oysters are French, it's DAVE, not Roger, who says "Well, I don't know what nationality they are." Then, Roger says the whole "transcends national barriers" thing. I always thought it was just Roger who said that, but Dave started him off on it. :D
werent they stoned during those interviews? that might explain it lol
They were stoned throughout I would imagine.
