I am also a member of another PF forum, and there a member posted info that actor Johnny Depp has always wanted to make a film based on Syd and the early days of Pink Floyd with himself playing Syd.

but if they included the part of his life where The Floyd played on Jimi Hendrix's Tour they could have Wood Harris play Hendrix just like in the Hendrix movie.

I think is is incorrect. I am sure Depp is intrigued with Syd, as we all are. I am not sure he ever said he wanted to make a movie about him. I challenge anyone to post a definative quote from Depp with his intentions or desires to do so.

thats really good, metabog. but finding an actor for Roger would be hard, his face is so unique. Also they'd all have to learn how to play their instruments, although Depp looks like he plays guitar.
