It says that Syd (or roger...what ever you want to call him)
worked on the Echoes album...is that REALLY true? i doubt it
yup although it was a greatest hits album so technically he wasen't involved he did write sing and play guitar on 5 (i think) tracks on echoes , it sounds like a good album but is missing many of my favorite floyd tracks wot no breathe or lucifer sam grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, buy it

ps did you know syd barret opened and closed pink floyd's whole discography ie he wrote sang and played guitar for the first track on the first album and the same for the last song on the last album amazing SYD BARRETT IS PINK FLOYD

Props to dear Syd but realy don't agree with that statement, with out him they were able to go so much further (and that's not an insult to the man who started it all just simply a fact), he became an unstable eliment to the band and so they felt the need to continue without him. :( As is the case when Roger thought he was Pink Floyd, but in the end (in my opinion anyway) they proved him wrong.
well what i ment was....i was thinking that he sat down and wrote down the songs he felt that should be on there
nope i don't know who chose what song should go on and where they should go

you'reaying he played guitar on the Division Bell? wow that's awesome
No...they're saying that they consider Echoes to be the last Pink Floyd album.

Personally, if one were to count greatest hits albums as official releases, The Who's catalogue would be three times the size it is.
