"This is the first time KQED has given their official consent to the release of the footage - essential viewing for any Pink Floyd fan."
I know CRP's output can be described as "patchy" (to be polite) but if this is what it says it is, how can it go wrong?
(famous last words?) :;):
I'm sorely tempted to place an order for it (I am a sucker for this type of thing).
And before anyone asks, "no I DON'T work for them"!
Classic Rock = Classic Crap dvds
You mean pay for something that can easily be downloaded for free!
I sure hope not!
If 'Classic cRock' say that the DVD has exclusive footage of David Gilmour blowing his nose, then you can be sure that in fact it only contains footage of Mostly Autumn going through his bins looking for the tissue...
Dreadful, opportunistic, fan ripping-off merchants, the lot of them.
I bought this "Critical review of Pink Floyd" dvd and returned it because Mostly Autumn were reveiwing the albums like they were some sort of smash-hit band, who the hell are they?
They are some second-rate hippy-drippy prog rock wannabes from the UK, who use the words 'Pink Floyd' wherever possible to promote themselves. There are so many of these DVDs with them on, it's frankly embarrassing, and to be honest, if I was PF management, I'd have stamped on them yonks ago.
Mostly Autumn its ment to be Mostly **** they can sod off i wont be buying this tripe as i have a good quality voio of this show and its not spoilt by some muppets giving their so called "critical review" on it.... Bastards i hate them
Sons of bitches...
so has anyone bourght this dvd then ??????

Well, technically within the trading community once something becomes available in the commercial domain, it should not be traded any more. If the performance is only used in part however, it would still continue to be traded until it was available in full to buy.
It may sound odd, but say the band was recording a new album and a month before it was due to be released, it leaked onto trading sites. People would see it as fair to trade, but once it was available to buy, the deal was you destroyed your copy, did not trade it any more and bought the official version. If however it transpired it had different cuts to the leaked version, people would continue to trade it as an alternative take.
