I love it. The performances are amazing, and the interviews are gut-bustingly hilarious. To this day I can't hear the words "oyster" or "apple pie" without breaking out into laughter, thereby confusing everyone around me.

i just got pompeii yesterday and i refused to watch it until i was baked! today i watched it when i was stoned and i thought it was amazing, love pink so much, thier music is my life.

IMO, kind of sad you need to get stoned to enjoy Pink Floyd...........

I agree, Sadly in this day in age more and more people need Drugs to enjoy life.

Sad isn't the word. I think it's rather insulting to the band's talent that there are people who think the only way it can be enjoyed is if they're stoned to the gills. I mean, does that mean the music is god awful when you're sober?

Indeed. That version blows me away completely!

I love "Live at Pompeii" but I don't like the directors cut (except for the interviews and the new black and white footage Mabien added in) I prefer the old transfixed shots with the the band playing infront of them, opposed to the new hellicopter shots. Also "Echoes" is slightly edited in 'The Directors Cut'. Thankfully Mabien put the original version on the DVD of just the concert, that's the version I always watch,
