Hi. I'm new to the forum. I just had a question about two songs, Vera and Run Like Hell. I know the story behind the album "The wall" and what it all means. I don't understand where certain songs fit into the story and what they are there for in the first place. Don't get me wrong, I love the everything about the songs. Its just that i don't understand the significance of them in the overall concept of the wall. Does anybody?

Vera: clearly about Vera Lyn (spelling?), the 2nd World War singer for the troops. Waters's Dad was killed in the war and it remained a recurring theme throughout his work.
Run Like Hell: seems to be about how those people in your life who drive you insane and contribute to "the wall" in your head force you to feel you have to run away from it all, or something like that.
