- AndersonCouncill - 07-29-2005 12:23 PM

It seems to me Great Gig would be nice with its orgasmic wails from Clare. :)

- Scream Thy Last Scream - 07-29-2005 12:25 PM

and i heard it from here lmao

- Woof Oink Baaa - 07-29-2005 01:07 PM

Echoes.

Nah. I really didn't, but it would be sweet if I did.

Damn ex-girlfriend and her un-Pink Floyd likingness.

Angry Angry Angry

Techno music is the best for this....

- Cr@zy_Diamond - 08-02-2005 01:10 PM

Hahaha this is one that I can say is under my belt.
In my room, and to the division bell album. The more percise 'moment' was during wearing the inside out...hehe :;):

- Jumpy - 08-02-2005 01:18 PM

To the original question, do you mean alone or with someone else?

- ImTheFloor - 08-02-2005 01:24 PM

I've never made love to another person. That's right. If we're talking alone or strange fantasies...GGITS would be awesome, I think, maybe Bike, just because.

- Jumpy - 08-02-2005 01:38 PM

ImTheFloor Wrote:I think, maybe Bike, just because.
Yeah... but only that strange quacking sequence at the end. Just play that over and over and over.

Music to scare your girlfriend.

- Cr@zy_Diamond - 08-02-2005 02:08 PM

I tried to, to dogs of war. I wasn't physically able to. My ears were in anguish

I'm really confused about the backlash against that song. I don't even think MLOR and DB are real PF albums, but they both have good songs, and I would consider Dogs of War one of those highlights.

I find it odd that MLOR fans don't even like Dogs of War.

That'd make me the coolest girlfriend ever, I'd be all into it.

everyone has their own opinion jump. personally i love the division bell, but momentary lapse is one of my least favorite albums in general, not just by pink floyd.

It's too repetative and dull.

The saxaphone solo saves it though.

wish i had a g/f like that :(

- whong - 08-02-2005 04:26 PM

years ago I did attempt something with Echoes. Nice long piece, and this was back when lp vinyls were the common medium. Guess I'm showing my age.
At the risk of crudeness, It was me going down on her, and I tried to... ehm...synchronize what I was doing to the music. She liked Floyd, and I think she picked up on what i was attempting, but i can definately say that twenty-three plus minutes can take a real toll. Couldn't talk straight for a while afterwards.
It was a lot of fun though, and certainly something we joked about afterwards. Obviously, she was very cool.
It's been said that DSOTM is one of the most played albums during intimate moments, or at least at one time it was....probably due to that rich warmth and classiness the album has, not to mention Claire's wailing on Great Gig. :D

I feel like I started a great conversation at a bar with some hot chick, went to the bathroom, and then these other guys had stolen my girl, my beer, and my bar stool.

- ImTheFloor - 08-03-2005 06:53 AM

Would that make me some sort of hot chick?

God I love the internet!

Oh, yeah... a female in a Pink Floyd forum? Talking about having a special moment during... um... the quacking noises at the end of bike? Ohhhhhhh yeahhhhhh -- the internet IS great!

You can look however we want you to look! :;):

I love vague messages like the one above that leave speculation. For me anyway.

- Hooligan - 08-03-2005 01:52 PM

My ex was just as big a Floyd fan as I was so we had alot of fun to DSOTM especially, but also Animals, Wish was fantastic, and Pulse MANY times. DSOTM & Wish were the best for a romantic mood.

- OCfloydian - 08-03-2005 04:30 PM

DSOTM on repeat is the way to go :O

dogs of war is a awesome song i,i have had many great times with amlor playing in the background , some women know learning to fly but didn,t know who sings it ,then i tell them who it is while dogs of war comes on they get pretty excited
that song has a mood and groove about it

- gianniskpf - 08-06-2005 01:50 AM

Never tried it. But I think, (influenced by the movie, of course) that "Empty spaces" is the .....appropriate song for it! Or Atom heart mother. One of these 2

Nice topic idea, by the way Scream

Thnx

- A New Machine - 08-06-2005 08:34 PM

The Division Bell has a nice romantic mood to it. I'm currently considering a compilation for just such an occasion. It would definately end with The Great Gig in the Sky as it is like a five minute orgasm and thusly, the perfect climax (pun entirely intended) to an album of this purpose. I would also include Cluster One, Wearing the Inside Out, On the Turning Away, Breathe, Us & Them, Green is the Colour, and One of These Days, just to juke the holy hell out of her!

Why, thanx mate.Your one is also great.
I know many say punk and The Floyd don't mix but I love it.The floyd are about the only band I would sit down and watch.

dead kennedys ,disorder and discharge blow holes out of the whole lot of them. and if you ask me, roger is a punk. a warrior. an anarchist.

- Bad Templar - 08-07-2005 04:55 PM

I'm considering an attempt to synch 'One of These Days' with the missus at some stage.

"One of these days, I'm going to cut you into little pieces.... BOOOM!!!!!
