Sorry if this has been done before
Throughout watching the Pink Floyd DVDs and listening to their interviews, it occured to me that they are pretty funny. With that being said who is the funniest? IMO it is Roger Waters, from reading his latest interview with RS (about the pig with balls on it) to what he said about suing Andrew Lloyd Weber, he seems to be the funniest.

I think it has to be Nick Mason, from watching him on the 'Live at Pompeii' DVD he seems to have the most english sense of humor.

Very close toss up between Roger and Nick......in the end, had to go with Roger though. The bigger the nose, the bigger the laugh. Nick is right behind him though.....any guy who looks like a parrot with a bad haircut deserves recognition too!

i have to say roger because, in an interview, where they were talking about how david, nick and rick added testicles to rogers pig after his departure and Roger's quote was "So they put balls on my pig, **** them" :laugh:

It's Nick for me by miles. I always thought that was his thing (apart from the drumming). He is the funny one on the band. From all the things I've seen him on, whether it be on Live at Pompeii DVD, The Making of The Dark Side Of The Moon DVD, The Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd Story DVD, the interview he did at Live8 or his Top Gear appearance, he has been quite funny. He is naturally funny, whereas the stuff from Roger is just him taking swipes at people (which is almost always funny).

Nick. "Inside Out", baby! That book is funny as hell. Some of the best parts: when Nick describes how the roadies' punishment was lugging around Dave's rowing machine; how Rick got pissed off at Roger, the first time they met, because Roger ripped the plastic wrapper off of Rick's cigarettes; the famous incident when Algie the pig got loose ("fingers were pointed, scapegoats nominated"). :laugh: Nick's the man.

I love the bit when he is discussing how, when the record company first met David, they thought he would take over the band. Then Nick says 'they obviously failed to notice the rather tall bass player standing at the back of te room'. Classic. :laugh:

Nick Mason of course! I haven't listened to it myself but I heard that the audio book version of "Inside Out" is even funnier than the print version, where Nick tends to joke around a lot more.

Yeh I found that out last night. It's his song Phantom of the opera, he stole part of it from Echoes. I've listened to both and its deffinatly the same and Roger says "It's the same time signature - it's 12/8 - and it's the same structure and it's the same notes and it's the same everything". After hearing this and listening to both songs I have lost all respect for lloyd f***in weber.

I think both Roger and Nick is great.
I remember watching on of Roger's clips on the final cut and this bloke run in and stole a rocket and run away again, I was in stictchers.
Both rock, but I voted Rog because his sense of humour is very close to mine.
It's only Aussie to bag people for fun, even if it's yourself. :D

Definitely Nick. If you've read Inside Out, you'd get it. Also, drummers are always a little "off", which adds to their charm.

Nick Mason is a very funny guy if you haven't gotten it yet buy Inside Out. He is a funny laid back guy that goes with the flow and tries not to get in the drama of the rest of the band. Roger Waters is very funny if you listen to his interviews and music. He can be really funny.

Nick, definitely. He can also really write. Its a pity he never wrote any lyrics, it would have been a welcome change from all the doom and gloom.

He did write some lyrics, actually: The Merry X-Mas song (although it's unreleased). I think with his sense of humor and overall persona, while an incredibly funny and likable guy......he'd make a horrible songwriter. LOL

yes Roger and Gerald were very funny during the Comentary like how Roger wanted to wear jeans in his early teens but he had to wear knickers and he said something about boys who had to wear knickers in theor early teens turn into Bleeding Heart Arists. It was kind of cute.
