- ashleyrose - 01-18-2004 07:20 PM Have ya'll ever noticed that you can watch The Wall and see it as roger waters' real life to a certain extend and then how he doesnt want his life to end up like? (Im sure you have LOL) The movie is so in depth and symbolic that you could watch it 100 times and find a something new everytime. You can also watch The Wall and put it in comparison to George Orwell's 1984 and see many similarites. I have also watched The Wall and applied it to my life. Taking everything I see and finding a way for it to symbolize something that has happened to me in my life. Any other ways that people see it or have watched it? It also has a tendency to show me how ****ed up people in this world are. And i feel like pink floyd is showing it to us in a different way. Ive watched the wall with many other people and it seems that you have to be pretty open minded and some what abstract to see it in different ways. Let me know your thoughts..... :p - slygirl - 02-22-2004 10:38 PM definetly..i can so relate to the wall as i have a wall of my own. and i will never "tear it down". all the anguish and pain of childhood has affected my views and thoughts on EVERYTHING. one thing about the movie i could live without...the rape scene during Run Like Hell. but you take the good with the bad....... :p - Ignis Fatuus - 02-23-2004 12:44 AM You take the good, you take the bad and there you have... my opening statement.
- slygirl - 02-23-2004 01:10 AM it might belong in "outside the wall", i am not really too sure....hmmmm.......... :upside: - ashleyrose - 02-29-2004 11:21 AM i wouldnt think so (placing this topic in "outside the wall" since it is about the wall. hmmm... duh. - slygirl - 02-29-2004 11:45 AM ashley, i honestly meant no offense to your topic. if a topic i started was moved, i would feel kinda insulted too. i meant no disrespect. i have just seen topics moved before that i thought maybe shouldnt have been. but i am not the administrater. thats why i was like.....hmmmmmmm, i dont know. no hard feelings?????? :( - ashleyrose - 02-29-2004 12:13 PM haha its cool.. dont worry lol :) - pinky_16 - 03-05-2004 03:27 PM Ignis Fatuus Wrote:You take the good, you take the bad and there you have... my opening statement.i love that episode of family guy ..... oh yeah the wall is a cool movie :D

It had some good points--but in the end, I think it was too overblown. - wowser - 03-06-2004 11:38 AM Ignis Fatuus Wrote:Isn't Wowser entitled to his opinion without everyone challenging it?thank ya. i can see why people like it, but personally id n;t like it - slygirl - 03-23-2004 08:14 PM Ignis Fatuus Wrote:ignis, please delete this post of yours???? i'll buy you Kyuss tixs for you and Ashley............slygirl Wrote:yyaaaaaaag tyaaaaaah yaaaaahhhriiiiiight... it makes my "boomhauer" bit look like a cover-up (shhhhhhh)
