Question: Is there a way to permanantly change the text color of your posts, like on the old board? I was always purple (my favorite color) before and I'd like to stick with that. On this new board, I've just been changing it to purple on EACH post, figuring I'd eventually figure out how to change it permanantly... but now I've looked everywhere and it doesn't seem to be an option. I know this isn't real important, just wondering.

And I'd like to join everybody else in the complaint about the new emoticons... now this is a LITTLE more important, as the typed word is easily misinterpreted and they help convey the intentions behind our posts.

Overall, I think the new board is great! I really like how it's so much easier to format text, and how you can go back and add emoticons in anywhere (instead of them posting only at the end of your post).

There's not enough of them and they lack the expression of the old ones... although I've seen some out there that were even better than the old ones. Isn't there a way to import a whole new selection? I don't know much about this stuff, but I think I've seen other sites do it.

Yes, admins can do that. Multiple accounts can also be merged into one, which we've done for people who were unable to recover their passwords on the new forum and registered a new account to get on the forum.
