Calamari. Closest one can get to eating rubber.
Anchovies in pizza. Great way to ruin an otherwise great idea.

You know there is not much on that duck that goes to waste and you never seen them take out the trash at a Chinese restaurant.
While we are at it, did you ever notice that you will see Mexicans working in the dishroom of Chinese restaurant but never any Asian cooks in the Mexican cantina.

Chorizo. Gawd I hate it.
I once worked for a lady who made me jello with a load of mayonaisse on it. I thought it was whipped cream. Yucko. Spooned up a mouthful, & very quickly realized my undelightful surprise. then went to the restroom to spit it out.

Rubber calamari was overcooked. It is not supposed to be rubbery.
2 of 4 of my kids like anchovies so when we go to the pizza parlor and order it, the cook always has to come out and see who ordered it. They freak when ther is a 3 and 9 year old munching down on annchovies. lol.
it's not a good idea to eat undercooked meat. :P

Roland Doe's C'mon Ice Cream Soup
2 - tubs Rojo's Hot Salsa
2 - jars Casa Mamita Chipotle Salsa
2 - cans Happy Harvest Chili Beans
1 - package Farmer John Louisiana Hot Links (sliced)
Combine ingredients in saucepan and bring to rapid boil wearing safety goggles.
Reduce heat and simmer for as long as deemed appropriate while stirring strenuously.
Serves two, or one twice. (It depends.)

There are a lot of foods I won't eat because I eat with my eyes first. If it looks like crap, I won't eat it. For example, cottage cheese. It looks like something a woman goes to the gynecologist for. I won't touch it. Then there are foods that are to my mind/stomach, horrible combinations. For example, tuna melts. Tuna salad is yummy. Cheese is yummy. Hot tuna salad and cheese?! No thanks. Hot mayonnaise makes my stomach lurch. Here's a small sampling of the foods I won't eat:
cottage cheese
sour cream
mayonnaise (except in tuna salad)
liver
beets
raw onions
egg salad/pea salad
deviled eggs (unless you only mix the egg yolks with mustard, then I'll eat them)
I could list more, but the server would crash. LOL

I had a friend who used to finish off the last few pickled onions in the jar and then drink the vinegar, not in one shot. He'd sit there and sip it. He also used to take tiny nibbles of his food, never seen anything like it before or since.
