Why does it seem Pink Floyd only played part one of SOYCD? I think Im mistaking, but thats me. I like Part 2 just as much.

on the pulse tour they shortend the two into one song its the same time lenght as parts 1-5 but had all parts

Well, how about this? I have a bootleg from 1974 where they play SOYCD from start to end right after You Gotta Be Crazy. Before Wish You Were Here came out, they played SOYCD in it's fullest without other songs, and after WYWH came out, of course, they had a new setlist, so it was just like the album.

I got a bootleg from 1977 with parts 1-5 and 6-9. Parts 6-9 have been extended to nearly 20mins :upside:

On the '77 tour, if you put all of SOYCD together (parts 1-9) it should be around 35 mins, because of 6-9 being extended with Snowy White solos.
The 1974 versions are all between 10 and 20 mins (roughly) depending on how much it had progressed.
The 1975 versions are pretty much like the album.

in 1974 they played the whole 9 parts together as one big song, then in 1975 they bridged 5 and 6 with Have a Cigar, and then in 1977 they played the WYWH album and SOYCD 6-9 was usually really long.

Also, on Echoes in the Gardens (I think), the SOYCD1-5 keyboard and guitar intro is played simoultaneously. :Oo: Sounds quite good. <- I will share if anyone wants it.
