I'm from Flint, MI, have only been to Chicago once. Is there anything cool for a fan to do before the show? How is the United Center with sound? At Pine Knob (now called DTE), they're not really into your business unless your being violent or really obnoxious - "There's one smoking a JOINT!" How is security? I was at a Steely Dan show, and no one caught me smoking or taking footage.
Any good deals on motels, hotels? Does anyone know when the doors open, if there's a chance to see the guys to a warmup before the show, etc? I have tickets with my brother, but due to his retarded schedule, I might leave without him, because I am not missing the show.
Any info would be much appreciated...

I saw Bruce Springsteen at the United Center in 2005 and the sound was great but its only been sporting events there that i've seen and a circus after that. Security's tight and scalpers are everywhere. Consecions are fine but over priced. They probably wont let people into the sound check. Other than that maybe i'll see you there!

They have Roger playing yesterday in Montreal if you look on YouTube. I'm trying to guess the setlist. Although I know its usually around the same, its cool to get something not expecting. There was a link of his setlists of all his shows on this tour. My videos

Last night was a once in a lifetime experience for me and my fiancee. We have seen Roger Waters before, and that was from the lawn at Tinley Park last year. I was fine with that. I was content just being in the same venue with one of my mentors.
But last night we were sitting in Section 3 Row 1 Seats 5 and 6!!!!
All I can say is, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was the same set list as before but I could careless.
Winning the tickets from the loop and ending up at the show was just a straight blur. All I know is right before In the flesh started I looked up and the man was 5 feet in front of me looking down and smiling. I waved up to him and he waved back, I could have died right there. :)
Amazing show, THANK YOU ROGER!!!!!

Thats great, wormhostage. Sounds like you had a great time.
I was also at the Tinley Park concert last year and had a great time there. We were lucky to be under the sheltered area and kept dry, although I would have been happy cold and wet. It was such a great concert.
I will be seeing him in St. Paul on June 30th - I cannot wait. 13th row center seats.
