All I can think of is that, on some level, I knew. I've had experiences when something really serious was happening to a loved one and I somehow knew. I'm going to find some positive way of remembering Rick--the world really needs to know how much he meant to the music of Pink Floyd. But, in the meantime, the only way I can explain it is that someone who was there all of my life and who was like family to me has died.

Mabewa, we know what you're going through right now. To me it's like losing a friend. He was such a decent man. And I'll miss him more when I'll play DSOTM and TDB.

Thanks for representing Richard Wright so well in this forum. Rick will be missed so much.

I'll keep representing Rick here, and elsewhere as well. The classic lineup of Pink Floyd died with Rick, but the music will live on. I hope that future PF fans will have a better idea of how much Rick contributed to their music.

God has his keyboard player now and Rick brings with him so much love from millions of people, to say he'll be missed is an understatement, much water is flowing through tears of sadness here.

I never realized until later and really getting into Pink Floyd that Rick was such a great songwriter and vocalist, not to mention keyboardist.

Other than Echoes, Great Gig In The Sky, Us And Them, some other great Rick songs that he sang on are Stay and Wearing The Inside Out.

I was saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Rick. For me, I will always consider 'One Of These Days' to be Rick's finest moment, even though it's a collaborative piece.

Rest now Richard. Now you're with Syd.

You`ve left 25 years of memories, all of them great!! A true rock icon, and a gentleman. Thanks for the memories Rick. RIP.

It still shocks me but it is also a timely reminder that none of us last forever. When I saw RW last year for the sixth time my wife said "haven't you had enough?" I reminded her that this could well be the last time I manage to see these icons from years gone by. Rick Wright is yet another of these icons who are no longer with us.

I think she now understands.
