Yeah, I think this might be the ultimate version of that song. Or maybe I'm just psyched because I've just bought it. Haven't watched the Pompeii version for a while...

Well, any version the four-man Floyd did is going to be better, but of the versions that David has done on his solo tour (I have a few boots from the OAI shows), Gdansk is the best.

The Gdansk version of Echoes is the best version I've seen or heard (my opinion only of course). I loved Steve DiStanislao drumming, Phil Manzanera Guitar playing, the late Richard and Jon Carin on keyboards, Guy on Bass and that reincarnated Black Strat. I also loved the fact that they all sing. Live in Gdansk has become my Friday night special. guitar
I have this on vinyl and two of the 5 disc sets, one unopened.
