Pink Floyd featured in new issue of "Uncut" Magazine
The new issue of the UK based magazine, "Uncut", was published today. The magazine features large interviews with each of the members of Pink Floyd, (conducted seperately). It contains twenty three pages of new interviews and pictures of Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Rick Wright and Nick Mason. It also has a somewhat scathing review of a 1980 Earl's Court Wall show, by Alan Jones. The issue comes with an 18 track CD of psychedelic music, including Syd Barrett's "Octopus." The magazine costs $7.50 in America and is available now.

That's at least the 2nd time in the past year or so they've been on the front cover of Uncut here in UK. Uncut's pretty good but I'm a Mojo subscriber myself. Less purely commercial stuff, more variety, doesn't have to try so hard to impress people. Just good solid journalism. Mojo has also covered PF from time to time, as has been discussed on this forum, I think. Q magazine has gone so far down hill. Now it never has anything on the cover that isn't presently in the charts. Used to be a varied magazine for the serious record collector quite a lot of years ago now.

Is this the May or June issue? The one I've seen here has Fleetwood Mac on the cover. Will the PF one be coming out soon? Or is it just not available in some areas?

I went to the uncut magazine website and it appears you can get a subscription sent to you by mail in Canada, but I'm not sure if they have it regularly on hand in stores...
I'd say your best chance of finding it would be at a Borders Books (if they have those in Canada) or other music stores.
