That would be great. I can imagine him doing another one - he's still got the energy for it.

After all, he was supposed to have produced enough material for a few albums for On An Island... I have a feeling that he went with the stuff that fit a certain vibe and put it together... there might be a whole bunch of other good stuff.

I'm sure he can. If he can be bothered - I have a feeling he will keep on producing solo work until Roger stops.

I think that he stopped playing music for a while because he got remarried and had kids again... he was a member of PF, and playing music involved huge world tours that took him away from his family. Now, he has gotten back to playing music, he's enjoying it, and he realizes he can do it on a smaller, less overwhelming scale. He doesn't have to be part of a huge machine to play music. He probably also realizes that he probably doesn't have too many more decades in this world, and he might as well let his creativity flow.

Really well said, Mabewa. Sometimes when you are playing music you have to be away from your family for a long time. I think that this is why all the members of Pink Floyd each had at least one divorce. You cannot take care of your family and go on huge world tours at the same time. He chose music before and he didn't want to again so he took a break. I also think that now it is easier for him to be around his wife because she is Polly Samson, who works in the musical lyric industry, and can work with him a lot of the time, as shown in the Division Bell and On An Island. I am glad he has got a steady relationship and happy one, but I am also happy he is doing what he loves the most - playing the guitar and singing.

Yeah. That would seem about the expected time if he did release another one. Cool

"Maybe the planets are in the right alignment, I feel like I'm playing the songs better than I have for years, it's been wonderful. It's made me think about new songs which I didn't think would be so soon. The next record will be quicker than the 22 years this one"
