To be honest, I've never heard it! I guess I assume all solo stuff from the Floyd won't be good, but that wasn't the case with Amused to Death so I maybe I'll buy a copy next time i see it. ;)

It is a pretty neat album. David Gilmour is a guest vocalist on the song, "Lie For a Lie". Great instrumental album.

LOL, I know, shame shame on me! And I call myself a Floydian! :D

But seriously, I've only heard some of the Floyd's solo attempts... Like "Amused to Death" for example, I really like.

I've heard good things about "About Face" and now "Profiles" so next time I'm at the music store I'll be sure to grab a copy of both!

PFOnline, check out http://www.floydianslip.com/discs/profiles.htm for some info on Profiles. You can listen to a clip of the song "Lie for a Lie" on there too, on which David Gilmour sings! Not my type of music though, so I would never buy this album if the rest of the songs are anything like that one, LOL. But perhaps if I'm rich one day and can afford to collect anything and everything Floyd, perhaps I'll consider it. :;):

Have you heard of Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports either? You can get info on the same site here http://www.floydianslip.com/discs/fictious.htm and listen to 2 song clips. Again, not a very Floydian album that I won't be running out to buy but it's still interesting to see the various things that PF members have participated in.

Well that's good, so show me where I can listen to the other songs so I can get a fair idea as to what the albums as a whole sound like. :) I'll always give Floyd a chance (or rather many chances). :;):

I thought that had already happened, dear Jintzey. I don't know anyone who splashes out on every kind of PF product like you do. I'm so impressed by your collection of Floydian items great and small.

Well, I DO have quite a Floydian collection, but none of it is solo works, just strictly Pink Floyd. MP3s is about as close to collecting the solo works as I have gotten because no matter how many times I listen to them and try to like them, I just don't, so why bother driving myself into debt over buying things I don't like? I'll wait till I have expendable income before I go there. Until then, I'll just stick with Pink Floyd. :)
