I first of all would like to to say this defintly a rockfilm and an artfilm and has so many trippy ahead of its time ideas carved out of the woodwork in this masterpiece. Both versons are killer and the songs put the studio versions to shame. Especially saucerful and Ax.

Definetly when gilmour is belting out "celestial voices" (whatever the name of the last part) in Saucerful of Secrets. Shivers every time

btw, in my opionion i think this should be moved to the films section

I HATE the director's cut.

The original is excellent.

I love the whole film,it's a classic, and a great example of the earlyish Floyd,as there are not many concert films about, compared to say The Beatles,Gilmour is great throughout, and Rick plays some wonderful organ,Echoes and A Saucerful Of Secrets being standouts, but i also love the footage of the Dark Side Of The Moon sessions,it's a shame they did'nt put more footage on the D.V.D. as there is plenty of room for it.

Careful With That Axe, Eugene.

From the original film of course. The new version blows.

The directors cut is what the director of this Adrian maben did with the footage of them making darkside and several interveiws with Dave, Nick, rick and Roger. Also it has revamped or ruined the song segments. It's not that bad at all but it would have saved damage to keep the song segments to its self.
