More Division Bell
I've only just realized this on my Division Bell CD
"Quote Wikipedia"
at the end of the album Gilmour's stepson Charlie can be heard hanging up the telephone on Pink Floyd manager Steve O'Rourke, who had pleaded to be allowed to appear on a Pink Floyd album.
"End Quote"
It happens about 20 seconds after the last ring of the bell.
So I'll beShocked, I've only had this CD for 15 years and never noticed it until I read about it on Wikipedia. It's not on the LP's , just the CD.

That's because several songs on the vinyl issue were edited to fit length constraints.

No editing and plenty of room on the end of the Korean double LP.

I was also aware of that, I was speaking of the US release, which is what I own. Still in shrink wrap, by the by.

So that's what the voices were that I heard yesterday at the end of the album? Didn't know that.

Well taking into account your loose grip on reality, perhaps we should consider that you often hear voices in your head.

RE: More Division Bell
I was surprised.
First I played the single LP, nothing. Then I played the double LP, nothing. Then I suck the CD in, it finished and I thought nothing. I walk away and then I heard voices, so I went and had a look outside, nobody. So I played High Hopes again and waited and watched the counter and sure enough there it was.
So what do they say?
Steve; Hello,
Charlie; Yes,
Steve; Is that Charlie,
Charlie; Yes,
Phone hangs up.
Steve; Great.
As for the the LP & CD, High Hopes is the last ever studio song from Floyd (OK for the purist Floyd Mk II). It makes this song even more special for me.
So Steve's voice is the last sound to ever be heard on the last Floyd CD. I read that Nick, Richard and David preformed at his funeral, what a great tribute.

Isn't this where we came in?
