I don't know enough artists (sadly) to make a worthy top 10, but I have seen no posts containing Nils Lofgren's name... Is it because you guys don't know him, or is he not good enough? In my opinion he's one of the best out there...

I've heard of him -- I'm a huge Springsteen fan, so I know his work. I just don't think that he fits on my list. That doesn't speak for anyone else, though.

His best work is to be heard on concerts though... Bruce's music isn't very guitar centered in the studio, but in his concerts there's always at least one song with a wicked guitar solo by either Stevie or Nils... Nils' solos are very superior though, and that's not because Stevie isn't good... ;)
