The wonderful thing being, it seems they have multiple communications going back and forth between them- Keep talking!

Wow shame this had to happen after the talented Wright's death! But hey it's all good. Perhaps the two with Mason should do a few songs like an EP for a benefit charity that they all have in common. I mean hell, they have huge control over the name Pink Floyd!

Actually, the only people entitled to use the name Pink Floyd are David and Nick. Roger is not in Pink Floyd anymore. Part of the settlement that happened when he left the band was that David and Nick could continue to use the name to tour and record under. So technically if that were to happen, it would be Pink Floyd featuring Roger Waters, but I doubt sincerely that either David or Nick would allow it to be billed that way.

So Roger's decided to the drop the "I'm a complete and utter total cock and I'm bloody well justified for being one" act?
Call me a safe bet,
I'm betting I'm not.
I'm glad that you can forgive,
I'm only hoping as time goes
You can forget.

Although we dont know the specifics It was David who requested Roger play with him. So Doesnt quite look that way.

I think by each of them doing/reacting the way they did it's made appearances better and shown there's room for warmer relations. I do not believe this will result in anything more than what it has, but it's absolutely wonderful to see the change. It's much nicer to be able to focus on something positive rather than the alternative. I've grown extremely tired of the David v Roger blah, blah, blah.
Who was dragged down by the stone.

Clearly as evidenced by their recent thaw, they have too.
