I think people hate Justin Bieber for the same reason they hate Lady Gaga or Britney Spears or any other overexposed pop star -- they get shoved in our faces constantly and as such, people get tired of them. Me, I haven't heard one of his songs and I don't intend on changing that, but I don't begrudge anyone what they choose to listen to.

It's actually rather pathetic, in my opinion. The "counter-culture's" insane hatred for pop culture demagogues and their inability to separate status from individual (in this case, a kid), is more vile than any Disney-created megastar monster.

The fact that people pay $20+ so they can throw things at little kids is telling us how warped we really are. And he took having a bottle of water being thrown at him a lot better than Morrissey.

It's also Primary Reason #1 that everyone who is over 18 that posts on 4chan should be hunted down and killed with extreme prejudice.

On our digital cable system, we have Music Choice digital music stations. One of my favorites is the Classic Rock station and it seems that whenever I happen to turn the station on, a Pink Floyd song starts playing. Right now, it's Shine On You Crazy Diamond (I - V). I love it. I hear more varied PF songs on a digital music cable station than I do on the radio.

I don't hate stars like Justin Bieber. I don't know him personally so how could I really hate him? I think people spend to much time with hate. I am a fan of Lady GaGa and Britney Spears. Britney Spears has been the focus of hate since 1999 or around 2000. She has also gained more fans with time. I still love her music.

No one is talking about hating these people because they've done something personally to you.


Britney Spears......ugh. I used to like her music. When I was a teenager. Then I got older.

I love her music as much as I did in the sixth grade if that more. She has been in music for ten or more years. I have three of her CD's.

The length of her career doesn't necessarily imply talent. The Osmonds have been around for decades.
