RE: Favorite part from your favorite song?
The song starts out with Rick playing a synthesizer. I was just abbreviating introduction and synthesizer because I didn't feel like typing the whole word out.

There is a lot of abbreviating on the forum especially for Album names.

Actually, that's not what it refers to. The song talks about Sheep (the people) who are controlled by the Dogs (businessmen). So the "well-trodden corridors into the valley of steel" would be the Sheep going to work everyday in the big cities (think the central business district). Tall skyscrapers = valley of steel, well-trodden corridors = roads/subways.

I thought it was a reference to the "pig mines" (trodden corridors into valleys of steel, that sounds pretty much like a mine). As far as I know from both Animal Farm and Animals, it's the Pigs who control the Sheep (Dogs are "used" by the Pigs to further oppress the Sheep), so it makes sense to me. :P

The lyrics to Sheep don't reference pigs, they reference dogs. Mines aren't valleys, anyway. They're underground tunnels. Dogs are the businessmen, Pigs are the big-wigs who control the businessmen. Sheep are the rest of us.

I have read Animal Farm. Several times, in fact. Both for school and for leisure.

Read it! It's one of the best books I've ever had in my hands. Almost as good as 1984.
